Testimonials

Hello there, all is well and everything was great as usual at Royal Palace. Service was great and food was good. This was our 3rd party there and like always everything went well. Our guests liked the food and one of our guest already booked an event with Royal Palace for August 15th. And we look forward to celebrate another upcoming family event. Please give our Special THANKS to Jagdish.

Hi Mr. Jagdish! This is Grace, March 7th wedding. How are you? Sorry I couldn’t email you earlier since I was very busy moving to different state. On behalf of our families, I would like to thank you for all you have to and making the event a grand success. Especially, my husband and I weren’t able to thank you personally on Saturday since it was very busy, so we would like to thank you. You went beyond our expectations and helped in arranging everything. The reviews from the guests are good. The ambience, arrangements, and more over the food was very great. I apologize if any one caused you any inconvenience. Once again, thank you so much!

I have grown up eating Royal Palace Food, so it was only natural that Jagdish would be the first person my family and I would go to for my wedding celebrations. Throughout my childhood, most (if not all) the Indian parties I attended over the years in the Westchester area were all catered by them. However, I wanted to leave this review because not only is their food excellent but their service is too. Jagdish and his team worked closely with my family and I for creating an extensive menu for Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch over a 2 day celebration. Jagdish assigned Xavier to be our event manager to oversee our events and he was absolutely a wonderful person to work with. And the FOOD, for our events, they made sure that it was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. I can tell that the team at Royal Palace genuinely worked hard into making sure the food was at their top quality. They definitely did not try to cut any corners and it was evident in the presentation, variety and taste of the food. Our guests told us that they enjoyed the food at all meals catered by them. I want to thank Jagdish, Xavier and the rest of the team for making our events a huge success, and for really taking an interest to make sure the food was no less than top quality.

We recently moved to Westchester County from the city and were looking for a restaurant that had as good Indian buffets as they do in the city. Well we didn’t have to search beyond Royal Palace! They are as good or even better! They have so many dishes to select from in their buffet, beginning from appetizers to main entrees to deserts. They are all as good as they get. The service is always phenomenal and courteous. We love their food so much that we recently had Royal Palace cater our sons birthday party. Everyone loved the food and asked where we got the food catered from. They delivered the food and set it up at the reception hall. From placing the order to delivering the food, they were very attentive to details and professional. Needless to say, we will be eating at Royal Palace for years to come!

I visited with my Indian friend and we had the buffet. The food was delicious,
we had traditional Indian long rice, Chicken tandoori , chole , and fresh naan stuffed with garlic and onons, mmm simply delicious. Service was quite good for a buffet as they bought us a free drink at the end of the meal and the prices are excellent. I believe they specialize in catering or having huge events at this great location The parking lot is huge so you will have no problems parking!

Royal Palace Restaurant is excellent in every way. The food as well as the service. I come here often and the gentlemen that wait on me are excellent. One gentleman in particular that has waited on me a few times is Sunil. Thank you Sunil you are fantastic! I will continue to come and bring friends every chance it get!

I’m picky about my Indian place so I was a little skeptical when we decided to order from here. Now it’s a good thing that my friends are just as picky as I am about food. We ordered from here and did take out. While we waited for the rest of our food, we muched on some amazing Poori that we had ordered – talk about not being able to wait! CareBear ordered the chicken tikka masala which she loved and her bf ordered the Saag Chicken Tikka which he loved as well. Their friend ordered Chana Saag and she could not stop raving about it. There was garlic naan which was awesome and I had the Shrimp Korma, which was sooo amazing; ususually Korma is too spicy or has too much coconut – this one did not and I was in heaven!!!! I’m so glad this place is near there apartment so I have more of a reason to visit them!

This is one Indian restaurant that seams to amaze me every time I go. Went there this past weekend with the family after a very long time – food was beyond excellent -cooked to perfection, staff was well spoken and very attentive, decor has definitely changed a lot (for the better) over the years, it can still use some change but it is definitely better then most Indian restaurants in the area. I had also used there services to cater my wedding events and till this day every guest I speak to has nothing but good things to say about the quality of there food & services that they provided during the wedding festivities. I’m so excited and looking forward to there banquet hall which is set to open soon in Yonkers – looking forward in hosting many more of our family gatherings there in the coming years!

My wife, my 6 yr old daughter and I visited Royal Palace on a Thursday afternoon for their lunch buffet. I had initially suggested a diner, as I had my heart set on a burger and fries. I am glad that my wife and daughter outvoted me and made us go to the lunch buffet instead. The restaurant was clean, well lit and was quite crowded, considering it was the day after Christmas. We were seated quickly by the hostess, ordered mango lassi’s and attacked the buffet. There was a larger selection of dishes than I would have expected to find at a “standard” Indian lunch buffet. They had three types of chicken, lamb, four or five vegetable dishes, three types of rice (white , yellow and Biryani), small appetizers, dosai and four types of dessert. And our very friendly waiter brought us a basket of hot, crisp and delicious naan to our table. I have to admit I sampled all four types of desserts and found them all very good. We left stuffed and satisfied, promising to return again soon. Any negatives? One minor thing – they charged us for three adult lunches, instead of two adult and one child. When we pointed this out, they apologized and quickly fixed the error. I think it was a minor mistake, not enough to detract from giving them five stars.
